James joined Semefab in 2025 as Chief Financial Officer and brings financial strategy, governance and control experience from across a wide range of industries. James is ICAS qualified with PwC and following early financial management experience with RBS, went on to help establish the UK Green Investment Bank as a key investor in UK renewables and oversee the financial delivery of the Queensferry Crossing construction project. More recently James was Head of Finance for Paysend, enabling it to scale rapidly from a startup to a global provider of money and payment transfers and Finance Director of Hunter REIM, which manages a range of commercial real estate across the UK.
